Are Celts Germanic

My popular map of the oldest instances of Y-haplogroup R1a in the ancient DNA record has a new entry: PES001 from the recent Saag et al.

The Celts settled, and became less warlike, and by the time the germanic tribes entered europe, they suffered a similar fate, only they were stopped in a different spot. But you can believe in it if you want. I guess Germany has a lot of Celtic roots too.

I imagine even with samples it will be pretty hard to tell too given how closely related the groups are. Celts migrated here first, driving iberians back to spain, who lived in the north is hard to tell, but these people also had to make way for the Celts.
