the year's weather pattern definitely makes for a nearly new trail each time.My friend and I hiked Squaw Trail early one morning. The only thing bad about it is the fact that it is so close to BYU.I have a hard time agreeing with the earlier reviewer's phrase, "what it lacks in beauty, it makes up for in accessibility." However, quite a few hikers do not actually reach the top due to the fact that this trail is more difficult than it looks, especially in the summer when temperatures are well over 100 °F (40 °C). Theres a small stream at the beginning but then it’s dry.Hiked this trail July 3rd. Reviewed July 25, 2015 via mobile . This is a really nice canyon with excellent hiking. Solid views of Kanab and cool picture spots.

Great coverage most of the trail which was nice to have shade.First 1.5 is meh. The thing I like about Provo is that the wilderness is just walking distance away from the city.
