No matter, a great bar to rub elbows with football fans of all creed.The smoke in this bar was terrible. I would recommend visiting on the way to downtown area bars.Stopped by on a tip from a friend. The bartender serving us was polite to his guests except for my friend who happens to be African American. One of Green Bay’s top downtown bars, The Sardine Can is located uniquely on the corner of Howard St and Broadway.

It serves appetizer plates at horrific prices if you are hell bent on putting together a dinner together with them. This Wisconsin dive bar (with a little flair) has long been known for legendary fun in Titletown, WI.The Sardine Can has 1 outdoor stage for live music and features bands of country, rock, dance and beach music. A great happy hour and good time any day of the week.This an awesome bar to visit and hang out. The women's toilet was stopped up and overflowing. Prices were good and service was outstanding. My only complaint is that I was breathing in a lot of cigarette smoke outside.

The Sardine Can in Green Bay fired the unidentified bartender after allegedly stating “black people are not allowed” to a crowd of people.

I think I may have been the only non-white person in the bar!Drive bar with great music, awesome outdoor tiki with live bands that pack the people in wall to wall like a SardineA group of friends and I visited this establishment Wednesday nov 9 in the evening. Will not return and spread my story to the entire GB area.This is a bar where everyone is having a good time all the time.

Sardines are not for everyone but these are so fresh and tasty that they are a less intense way to get some fish into your diet. Absolutely disgusting and distasteful. It's also one of the few places in Green Bay with a tiki bar, complete with porch swings. Eat a light (cheap) meal elsewhere, then just try a few things at The Sardine Can that pique your interest.

The crowd seemed to be a bit older. My hubby's birthday coincides with a national holiday and he wanted to go for a drink. "Sardine" and "pilchard" are common names used to refer to various small, oily forage fish in the herring family Clupeidae. Great live band playing. We stopped in here for a few drinks after touring Lambeau field. Summer is the best time... outdoor patio is a great gathering place with live music.We were told to stop by this bar...what a mistake...place was dirty and the bathrooms smelled horribleThe sardine can is a fun bar to stop at on my way to Keggers. Glad I was paying cash and didn't run a tab. It gets crowded but it's a fun place that books fun bands.I've walked past this place almost every time I go to the farmers market and wanted to stop by because the live music and the outdoor area looks like a blast.

It was the only bar that we could find that was open. It has a faux-wall built by the owner that expands and contracts depending on how busy the crowd is.GOOD LUCK if you are a female and want to get service -- the bra-less bartenders only cater to every male before they will even look in your direction!!
